Baseball Recap: Forest Comes Up Short

Forest fell victim to Mount Dora and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Canes. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Forest saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Javier Molina, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Forest's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Mount Dora, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-7.

Forest wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-3 victory against Oakleaf on the 14th. As for Mount Dora, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Eustis on the 15th.
