Softball Game Preview: Bossier Bearkats vs. Haynesville Golden Tornado

The Bossier Bearkats will face off against the Haynesville Golden Tornado at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Bossier's hitters haven't had much luck over their past four matches, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Bossier's offense. They lost 12-0 to Ringgold on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Haynesville). They put the hurt on Union Parish with a sharp 20-5 victory on Monday. The Golden Tornado might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Haynesville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. Bossier's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
