Baseball Game Preview: San Marin Mustangs vs. Terra Linda Trojans

For the second straight game, San Marin will face off against Terra Linda. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in San Marin's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Terra Linda has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

San Marin came out on top against Terra Linda on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run second inning. The Mustangs were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Trojans. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won eight in a row.

Jaden Brown looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

On the hitting side, Matthew Baldino was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Chase Rawles, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one double.

San Marin's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Terra Linda, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.
