Softball Recap: Clearview Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Clearview's offense. They lost 20-0 to the Brookside Cardinals on Monday. The Clippers have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Clearview's record is now 1-7. As for Brookside, they moved to 3-6 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clearview will face off against Black River at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Clippers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Brookside, they will take on Columbia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
