Volleyball Game Preview: HOPE Academy Royals vs. NorthPoint Christian Academy NightHawks

After both having extra time off, the HOPE Academy Royals and the NorthPoint Christian Academy NightHawks will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. NorthPoint Christian Academy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on HOPE Academy, who comes in off a win.

While HOPE Academy's victory against The Fletcher School wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Royals skirted past the Falcons 3-2. The Royals haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

HOPE Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 19-25, 25-12, 25-14, 15-8.

Meanwhile, NorthPoint Christian Academy came up short against Walnut Grove Christian on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21, 25-7.

HOPE Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for NorthPoint Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
