Basketball Game Preview: Princeton Vikings vs. Middletown Middies

Princeton is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Middletown is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Princeton Vikings will host the Middletown Middies at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Princeton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Middletown likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Princeton beat Lakota West 58-54.

Meanwhile, Middletown was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 62-58 to Fairfield.

Middletown's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Princeton, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.

Princeton was able to grind out a solid win over Middletown in their previous meeting on Tuesday, winning 85-75. Will Princeton repeat their success, or does Middletown have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
