Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dillon Christian). They put the hurt on the Conway Christian Eagles with a sharp 6-2 victory on Friday. The score was close at halftime, but Dillon Christian pulled away in the second half with four goals.

They hit Conway Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mckinnon Sampson (4), Michael Love, and Mills Wallace.

Dillon Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7-1. As for Conway Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dillon Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pee Dee Academy at 6:00 p.m. on April 8. As for Conway Christian, they will square off against Green Sea Floyds at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
