Recap: Santa Fe Christian vs. Foothills Christian
The Santa Fe Christian Eagles had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Foothills Christian on Tuesday and snuck past 2-1. The victory was just what Santa Fe Christian needed coming off of a 6-0 loss in their prior contest.
Santa Fe Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-8-3. As for Foothills Christian, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-10-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Santa Fe Christian will square off against La Jolla Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. La Jolla Country Day is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season. As for Foothills Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Bishop's at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Foothills Christian's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
