Basketball Recap: Waupaca Takes a Loss

Waupaca suffered their biggest loss since January 7th on Monday. They were outmatched by the Menasha Bluejays and fell 92-61. The Comets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bluejays apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

Waupaca's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points over those games. As for Menasha, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Menasha beat Waupaca by a score of 92-61 on Tuesday.
