Basketball Game Preview: Bureau Valley Storm vs. Knoxville Blue Bullets

The Bureau Valley Storm will head out on the road to take on the Knoxville Blue Bullets at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Bureau Valley came up short against Brimfield and fell 58-49. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite their defeat, Bureau Valley saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Libby Endress, who posted 11 points along with six boards and six steals, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Helms, who put up seven points in addition to six assists and three steals.

Meanwhile, Knoxville didn't have quite enough to beat Elmwood on Thursday and fell 47-45. The Blue Bullets have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Bureau Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Knoxville, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-9.
