Soccer Game Preview: Reagan vs. Belen Jesuit

The Reagan Bison will square off against the Belen Jesuit Wolverines at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Reagan's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Tuesday, Reagan didn't have quite enough to beat Somerset Academy and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 230th, while the Panthers are ranked 24th).

Reagan's goal came courtesy of Alessandro Martini, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Belen Jesuit fell victim to Cypress Bay and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Lightning by a score of 1-0. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Belen Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 4-4-3. As for Reagan, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-2.
