While Pieper's victory against Alamo Heights wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over the Mules on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Pieper's victory bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Alamo Heights, they dropped their record down to 10-20 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pieper will take on rival Boerne at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Alamo Heights is set to square off against their familiar foe New Braunfels at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
