Softball Recap: Downsville Victorious

Downsville's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Southwood Cowboys a 19-0 shutout. The Demons haven't had any issues with the Cowboys recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The win got Downsville back to even at 1-1.

Downsville will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Beekman Charter at 9:00 a.m. on March 1. As for Southwood, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Mansfield at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
