Hamilton had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Morrisville-Eaton Mavericks. That's more bragging rights for the Emerald Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ellie Freeth spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Adriana Catania was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Rihana Dye was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Hamilton's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Morrisville-Eaton, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

As of now, neither Hamilton nor the Mavericks have any future games scheduled.
