Baseball Recap: Hixson's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

Hixson lost against Rhea County back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Hixson fell just short of Rhea County by a score of 3-2. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hixson's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-2. As for Rhea County, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hixson will welcome Signal Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Signal Mountain will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Hixson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rhea County, they will square off against Bradley Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
