Volleyball Recap: Tri-Village Comes Up Short

Tri-Village lost against Arcanum back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Patriots took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans.

Heidi Bell paced Tri-Village's offense, picking up seven kills. Bell got some help from Zoe Ayette and her 11 assists.

Arcanum got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordyn Garbig out in front who had six aces and three digs. Those six aces gave Garbig a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Fry, who had 11 assists and three digs.

Tri-Village's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Arcanum, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Tri-Village wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Ansonia on the 23rd. As for Arcanum, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Greenville on the 23rd.
