Basketball Recap: Example Academy Find Success

Example Academy won the last time they faced Western Reserve Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Pioneers by a score of 74-63.

Western Reserve Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Maliyah Lofton, who shot 50% from the field on her way to 22 points. Another player making a difference was Tara Nachbar, who posted 11 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Example Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Western Reserve Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Example Academy will square off against North Tampa Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on the 24th. As for Western Reserve Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-55 loss against Winton Woods on the 22nd.
