Dos Palos hasn't had much luck against Kerman recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Broncos will look to defend their home field against the Lions at 4:00 p.m. Dos Palos will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Trevin Vincent was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Dos Palos is 4-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 9-12 otherwise. Vincent was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.
In other batting news, Dos Palos let Chaz Merrell and Ace Obanion run wild. Merrell went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Obanion went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Obanion is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kerman, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Sierra Pacific on Thursday as they made off with an 11-1 victory. That ten-run margin sets a new team best for the Lions this season.
Max Ramirez and Izek Rivera did most of the damage at the plate: Ramirez got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three RBI and one run, while Rivera went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Those two runs gave Rivera a new career-high. Another player making a difference was John Borges, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Kerman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Kerman's win bumped their record up to 10-16. As for Dos Palos, the victory got them back to even at 13-13.
Dos Palos' speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's matchup. The Broncos have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Kerman, though, as they've been averaging only 1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Dos Palos continue to outrun the ball?
