Samantha Wise commands the offense for Huskies win

Recap: Chapin Huskies vs. El Paso Tigers

The Chapin Huskies won the last time they faced the El Paso Tigers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Chapin secured a 47-42 W over El Paso.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chapin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Samantha Wise, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Wise has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Autumn Blackwell, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

Chapin's victory bumped their record up to 9-16. As for El Paso, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-7.

Chapin will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Andress at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. As for El Paso, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Canutillo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Canutillo will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
