Basketball Recap: Cornerstone Christian Academy Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Cornerstone Christian Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past the Wylie Prep Academy Patriots 48-26. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-27 back in January.

Cornerstone Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Genna Welch out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. Welch is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games she's played. Jasmine Nordstrom was another key player, putting up seven points along with nine assists and six boards.
