Soccer Recap: York Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

York had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Schuyler Warriors a 5-0 shutout. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for York considering their one-goal performance the match before.

They hit Schuyler with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ellie Reynolds (2), Lauryn Mattox (2), and Emily Aguilar.

York's record now sits at 3-0. As for Schuyler, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. York is set to square off against their familiar foe Northwest at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give York their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Schuyler will take on rival Lakeview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
