Football Recap: Coventry Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Coventry lost against Moses Brown back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Oakers took a 32-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Quakers.

Although Coventry took the loss, they still got scores from Wyatt Cardarelli, LJ Stembridge, Angell Nova, and Michael Smith.

Gavin Marsh was nothing short of spectacular for Moses Brown: he threw for 168 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 139 yards on only nine carries. Marsh's longest rush was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Eric Jeffreys was Marsh's top target, picking up 136 receiving yards and one score.

Coventry's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Moses Brown, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Coventry will look to defend their home field on Friday against East Providence at 6:30 p.m. As for Moses Brown, they will head out to challenge Cranston East at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
