Soccer Recap: Texas City Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ball last Friday, Texas City came back down to earth. The Texas City Stingarees came up short against the Santa Fe Indians on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Stingarees in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost eight in a row.

Texas City's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Santa Fe, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.

Coming up, Texas City will head out on the road to challenge Angleton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Santa Fe, they will host Ball at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Santa Fe is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.
