Loyola Academy has gone 7-1 against Fenwick recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Ramblers will look to defend their home field against the Friars at 7:00 p.m. Fenwick took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Loyola Academy, who comes in off a win.

14 must be Loyola Academy's lucky number: they beat DePaul College Prep with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Ramblers beat the Rams by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 14-10. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Fenwick was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They came up short against St. Laurence, falling 17-2. The Friars have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Josh Morgan made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Loyola Academy pushed their record up to 14-19 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Fenwick, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-15-1.
