Volleyball Recap: Washington Bluejays vs. Fort Zumwalt North Panthers
Washington lost against Fort Zumwalt North back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bluejays fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
While Fort Zumwalt North got the win, Washington sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. The final score came out to 27-25, 26-24, 23-25, 21-25, 15-10.
Several Bluejays players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Elaina Kimminau, who had 13 digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendal Gilmor, who had 15 digs.
