Volleyball Recap: Sweet Home Falls to Williamsville East in First Game of Season

Sweet Home unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Williamsville East Flames on Wednesday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Flames apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2017.

While Sweet Home was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Williamsville East's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-11, 25-13.

Coming up, Sweet Home will challenge Hamburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Williamsville East has already played their next game (against Kenmore West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
