Basketball Recap: Boerne Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

New Braunfels typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Boerne proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the New Braunfels Unicorns by a score of 37-29. The Greyhounds have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Unicorns, too.

New Braunfels' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Alyana Mcgarity, who went 6 of 13 on her way to 17 points, and Riley Lundergreen, who posted four points.

Boerne's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-10. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for New Braunfels, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-13.
