             The Lakewood Spartans will face off against the Cardinal Mooney Cougars at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both  might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 983 yards in their previous games.
 Last Friday, Lakewood was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  as they fell  21-17 to St. Petersburg. The Spartans gained 137 more yards on the day, but it was the Green Devils that made the best use of them.
 Although Lakewood took the loss, they still got scores from  Shrodderick Pritchett and  Derrion Mcneal.

 Lakewood now  has a losing record at 2-3. As for Cardinal Mooney, their victory was  their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 5-0.
