Griffin Cumpton Game Report: vs Perry-Lecompton/Bishop Seabury Academy

A big congratulations to Griffin Cumpton, who rushed for at least 100 rushing yards for the first time in his career. He rushed for 129 yards and a pair of scores on only 14 carries, but sadly Royal Valley still had to take a 27-24 loss at the hands of Perry-Lecompton/Bishop Seabury Academy. We think that's the best game he's posted since September 20th, 2024, when he forced one fumble and made 14 total tackles.

Looking ahead, Cumpton and Royal Valley will challenge Atchison County on Friday. The last time Cumpton duked it out with the Tigers (back in October of 2024), the Panthers came out on top by a score of 54-8. Will another strong game from Cumpton be enough to do it again?
