Basketball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

Rogers lost against Champlin Park back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rogers Royals were dealt a 76-48 defeat at the hands of the Champlin Park Rebels. While losing is never fun, the Royals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while the Rebels are ranked 27th).

Rogers dropped their record down to 6-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Champlin Park, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.

Rogers will host Coon Rapids at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Champlin Park, they will head out to face off against Spring Lake Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
