Cupertino had won two straight games and Natalie Baker did her part to make it three on Wednesday. The Pioneers blew past the Fremont Firebirds 3-0 for which the team can thank Baker, who had 17 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Cupertino never let Fremont on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-9, 25-22.

When it comes to explaining why Fremont lost, don't look at Zoe Shie. Despite the final result, she had 25 digs and two aces. McKayla Hsu was another key player, getting eight digs and two aces.
