Basketball Recap: Zion Ibekwe Key Part of a Team Effort in Bears Win

BigTyme Prep Academy won the last time they faced Varsity Opponent and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went the BigTyme Prep Academy Bears' way against Varsity Opponent as the BigTyme Prep Academy Bears made off with a 70-48 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead BigTyme Prep Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zion Ibekwe, who went 5 for 11 en route to 16 points along with five boards and three steals. The game was Ibekwe's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dailon Minor, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 14 points.

BigTyme Prep Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2023.
