Isaias Tomita leads DSST: College View to victory over Rocky Mountain Prep SMART

Recap: DSST: College View Wolves vs. Rocky Mountain Prep SMART Ocelotls

The DSST: College View Wolves won the last time they faced the Rocky Mountain Prep SMART Ocelotls, and things went their way on Friday too. DSST: College View secured a 55-50 W over Rocky Mountain Prep SMART. The win made it back-to-back wins for DSST: College View.

Isaias Tomita was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with seven assists and seven steals. Tomita is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Josue Tomita, who scored 12 points.

Rocky Mountain Prep SMART lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kiran Rogerio, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rogerio has scored all season. Xavier Galvan was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.

DSST: College View has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Rocky Mountain Prep SMART, they dropped their record down to 6-14 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DSST: College View will take on Arrupe Jesuit at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rocky Mountain Prep SMART, they will head out on the road to square off against Bruce Randolph at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
