North Thurston extended their winning streak to ten on Wednesday, bumping them up to 14-5-1. Everything went their way against the Mount Tahoma Thunderbirds as they made off with an 18-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

As for Mount Tahoma, they dropped their record down to 0-18 with the defeat, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. On the bright side, the six- run effort marked their highest-scoring contest to date.

For Mount Tahoma's part, Caidon Black was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. Those doubles were Black's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jacob Kerwood, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Thurston will host Ingraham at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ingraham's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so North Thurston's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Mount Tahoma, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Washington at 4:30 p.m. The Patriots have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.85 runs per game on average), something the Thunderbirds will no doubt try to take advantage of.
