Basketball Recap: Clinton Central Extends Winning Streak to Three

Clinton Central had won two straight games and Carly Davison did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Bulldogs came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 44-39 W against the Tri-Central Trojans thanks in part to Davison, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten boards. Her big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 19 points.

Emily Long was another key player, putting up eight points. Long is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Clinton Central's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Tri-Central, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Clinton Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 46-35 defeat against Fountain Central on the 11th. As for Tri-Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 48-36 victory against Tipton on the 13th.
