Volleyball Recap: Springfield Renaissance Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sci-Tech on Thursday, Springfield Renaissance came back down to earth. Springfield Renaissance came up short against the Putnam Vo-Tech Beavers on Monday, falling 3-0. Springfield Renaissance has struggled against Putnam Vo-Tech recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Springfield Renaissance was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 25-22.

Springfield Renaissance's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Putnam Vo-Tech, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Springfield Renaissance didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Granby on the 21st. As for Putnam Vo-Tech, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Longmeadow on the 21st.
