Softball Recap: Notre Dame's Undefeated Season over After 15 Games

Notre Dame was the 4-2 winner over Hillsboro when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans fell just short of the Indians by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The match marked the Titans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Notre Dame fell to 14-1. As for Hillsboro, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Notre Dame didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Lebanon on the 26th. As for Hillsboro, they have also already played their next match, a 16-0 win against McClain on the 28th.
