Soccer Game Preview: Parkview Baptist vs. St. Scholastica

The Parkview Baptist Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the St. Scholastica Doves at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Parkview Baptist is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Louisiana's top teams: Mandeville, who was ranked 11th at the time (Parkview Baptist was ranked second). The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Skippers on Tuesday. Parkview Baptist's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, St. Scholastica and Fontainebleau finished up their match with a 2-2 draw on Tuesday.

With that draw, St. Scholastica's record moves to 9-3-3. As for Parkview Baptist, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.

Parkview Baptist beat St. Scholastica 3-1 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
