The Ferriday Trojans will take on the East Feliciana Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Ferriday is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Northeast 58-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Trojans' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Vikings are ranked 248th).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ferriday to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zylon Alexander, who rushed for 73 yards and two TDs on only five carries, and also caught one touchdown. Desmen Jefferson was in the mix too, providing the Trojans with two scores.
Another reason for the win was Ferriday's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. They got some further help from Marvin Davis: he made 14 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when East Feliciana challenged Delcambre on Friday. The Tigers blew past the Panthers 44-6. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.
Ferriday better keep an eye on Markus Cannon Jr. He was instrumental in East Feliciana's win, throwing for 170 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes.
East Feliciana didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Makyle Cannon. Ryan Moore was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Ferriday's record now sits at 8-3. As for East Feliciana, their record is now 9-3.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Ferriday has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 183.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like East Feliciana struggles in that department as they've been averaging 179.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
