Softball Recap: Moses Brown Find Success

While Moses Brown's victory against Ponaganset wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Quakers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 14-13 win over the Chieftains on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Quakers in their matchups with the Chieftains: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Abby DeWolf, who went 4-for-5 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Coco Medeiros, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Moses Brown kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They got five more hits than Ponaganset's also-impressive total of 11.
