Basketball Recap: Julian Davis' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Wallace over Kellogg

Wallace lost against Kellogg back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wallace Miners took a 56-41 bruising from the Kellogg Wildcats.

Several Miners players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Julian Davis, who went 8-for-20 en route to 20 points and seven rebounds. The matchup was Davis' sixth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Emmitt Myles, who posted five points and 11 boards.

Wallace's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Kellogg, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7.

Looking ahead, Wallace will host Clark Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kellogg, they are taking a road trip to square off against Priest River at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Priest River is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season.
