If Satellite wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Bayside, they should've done a better job of containing Madisyn Hamilton. The Bears put the hurt on the Scorpions with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday thanks in part to Hamilton, who had 23 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.3 digs per game.

While Bayside might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Satellite scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 25-21.

Despite the defeat, Satellite saw an underclassman step up: freshman Cady Tinch had 15 digs and two aces.

The win was the third in a row for Bayside, bringing their record up to 9-16. As for Satellite, they moved to 14-8 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

As of now, neither Bayside nor the Scorpions have any future games scheduled.
