There's no place like home for Clairemont, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They had just enough and edged out the Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots 4-3 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Chieftains have posted since February 27th.

Maelea Silao was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Justice Reese also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

The win snapped Clairemont's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-6 record. As for Academy of Our Lady of Peace, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Clairemont didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Santana on the 10th. As for Academy of Our Lady of Peace, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-4 victory against Mar Vista on the 10th.
