Baseball Recap: Beaver Dam Drops Highest Score of Season Against Round Mountain

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beaver Dam). They blew past the Round Mountain Knights 21-7 on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Diamondback as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Miguel Jauregui, who scored four runs and stole five bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Manuel Castillo was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Beaver Dam was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .526. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in five consecutive games.
