Davies Career & Tech gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They breezed past Block Island to the tune of 77-20. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with Block Island: they've now won three in a row.

Albert Medrano had an outrageously good game as he went 9-for-11 en route to 22 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals. Another player making a difference was Aidan Kearns, who shot 43% from the field to rack up 13 points and four steals.

Davies Career & Tech will take on Case in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Block Island and Toll Gate will compete for holiday cheer at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
