Soccer Game Preview: Lorena vs. La Vega

Lorena hasn't had much luck against La Vega recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Leopards will head out on the road to take on the Pirates at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Lorena took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They never let Marlin get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The score was close at halftime, but Lorena pulled away in the second half with two goals.

Meanwhile, La Vega entered their tilt with China Spring on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Cougars 6-0. Ramiro Varela was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

La Vega's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Lorena, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
