Basketball Recap: Josey Stefanik's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Greenville Tech Charter over High Point Academy

On Friday, the Greenville Tech Charter Warriors were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 31-25 to the High Point Academy Grizzlies. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Greenville Tech Charter lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Josey Stefanik, who posted five points. Alacyea Killingsworth was another key player, putting up five points and five steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Greenville Tech Charter and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for High Point Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Greenville Tech Charter and Varsity Opponent will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for High Point Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Chapman at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. High Point Academy is facing Chapman at the right time seeing as Chapman is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
