The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Prairie du Chien nor Luther made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Blackhawks never let the Knights get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Blackhawks, who have now won four games in a row.

Prestin Nolan tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Abe Amundson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Deacon Chesebro also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Prairie du Chien's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Luther, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8-1.

Looking ahead, Prairie du Chien will square off against Dodgeville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Dodgers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Blackhawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Luther, they will face off against Black River Falls at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
