Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Takes a Loss

Bloomfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were outmatched by the Geneseo Blue Devils and fell 73-35. The game marked the Bombers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Leading Geneseo to victory were Avery Hepler and Jackson Willis. Hepler went 10 for 18 from beyond the arc en route to 32 points and six boards, while Willis went 10 of 21 on his way to 21 points and four steals. The contest was Willis' 12th in a row with at least ten points. Reece Byrnes was another key player, putting up six points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Geneseo, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Bloomfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-39 loss against Letchworth on the 24th. As for Geneseo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-33 victory against Caledonia-Mumford on the 24th.
