Basketball Recap: Wakulla Christian School Takes a Loss

Wakulla Christian School won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They were dealt an 81-46 loss at the hands of the Wewahitchka Gators. The Saints have struggled against the Gators recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Wewahitchka's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rhemy Patrick led the charge by putting up 14 points. Cyliss Post was another key player, going 5 for 7 on his way to 11 points.

Wakulla Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Wewahitchka, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.

Wakulla Christian School has already played their next contest, a 68-49 loss against Aucilla Christian on the 6th. As for Wewahitchka, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 81-47 defeat against Port St. Joe on the 6th.
